Tom Clancy's The Division 2 has launched its latest season, Rise Up, bringing a major update centered around a new endgame activity called Escalation. This mode offers 10 difficulty tiers, with higher levels requiring tokens and providing increased rewards. Each run is a single attempt with no checkpoints, emphasizing challenge and replayability.

Escalation also introduces rotating modifiers and mutators that change gameplay dynamics, such as enemy EMP abilities and environmental effects. The system is designed to evolve each season, keeping the experience varied while offering progressively harder challenges for players.
